The CFL is the world’s most inclusive 8-a-side international football tournament, and the most important global event for clubs competing in this format
Participants: well-known Russian teams representing over 30 cities;
Teams from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Globally-renowned players will be taking part in the event.
The CFL will take place in one of Moscow’s most prestigious districts, 15 minutes away from the city centre.
Setun Park Stadium will serve as the event’s main venue. Setun Park is a state-of-the-art facility engineered and built specifically for 8*8 football tournaments.
Field size: 68 x 39 m. Goal size: 5.60 x 2.35 m.
48 to 64 teams from across the world will take part in CFL 2017.
All games will be broadcasted live on YouTube in HD.
The tournament’s group stage draw will be held at Otkrytie Arena (also known as Spartak Stadium – a FIFA World Cup 2018 venue).
At the opening ceremony you will see the match between national teams of Russia and Tunisia.
Participants will have the opportunity to indulge in Moscow's rich nightlife on a daily basis, while guided tours and excursions will also be available for those who are interested.
The event will be carried out under the auspices of some of the largest Russian and international organisations. A large number of notable guests are expected to be in attendance – this includes prominent businessmen, politicians, sponsors, professional football scouts, as well as sports and entertainment stars.
